Wexford Festival Opera - TV, radio, print, OOH, digital.
When you think of Opera you may not necessarily think of a small seaside town in Ireland, but Wexfordhas been described as "One of the top three destinations in the world for Opera lovers". The first festival took place in 1951and it has grown into one of the world’s leading opera festivals.
We were tasked with creating a compelling advertising campaign that showcased the beauty and uniqueness of Wexford Festival Opera in order to attract a much broader audience. We created the idea “Hidden Gem”. This idea came to life because of the festival’s unique world class performances of three rare operatic gems as the central ingredient of a lively music festival in a small seaside town in Ireland, a charming and somewhat surprising setting.
We created a series of visuals, combining a performer and area of beauty in Wexford, to be used across digital, and print and a 20 second TV spot.
